So said one of my great heroes, Claudio Monteverdi. And if you ask me, the industry as a whole has forgotten this. Classical music, after all, was conceived as a way of binding people together in a common cause, creating communities, and spreading the 'gospel'.
For me, going forward means going back to these roots, building communities, engaging as many people as we can can with one of mankind's greatest art forms: classical music.
